WHAT A START TO THE SEASON!
Our Varsity Grizzlies opened the season with back-to-back 2–0 victories and showed exactly what Grizzly volleyball is all about.
We started the night against Southeast with a 25–13, 25–13 win, setting the tone with great energy and consistency.
Then came a battle against Wichita East. After being down by 7 points in the second set, our girls showed incredible grit, tenacity, and fight to battle all the way back and take the set 28–26, securing another 2–0 victory.
Our Junior Varsity also battled hard! They picked up a victory against Southeast before falling to East in a three-set match. They showed great hustle, energy, and fight throughout both matches!
Our Freshman Grizzlies had a great night as well, picking up victories against both Southeast and East!
A great opening night for the Grizzlies, with Varsity going 2–0, JV earning a split, and Freshman going undefeated!
Couldn’t have asked for a better way to open the season. Proud of this group!
