REMINDER: The Kansas City Ballet audition is coming up.

On Sunday, November 1, Kansas City Ballet is coming to our studio to hold their Junior Summer Intensive audition. Your dancer can audition for a world-class professional company's intensive without leaving Wichita.

KCB's school trains some of the country's most serious young ballet students, and Junior Summer Intensive is where that path can start. For dancers 9–14 who are curious about what pre-professional training looks like, this is a real, accessible first step.

Audition is 1–2:30 (check-in at 12:30), $40, pointe shoes if your dancer is studying pointe.

Out of an abundance of caution CLASSES and REHEARSALS are CANCELLED tonight (Oct. 13) due to potential flooding of Douglas and our parking lot.

With a flood watch in effect and heavy rain predicted to fall early this evening we do not want to take any chances of anyone being stranded in the parking lot/building. Previous storms have shown that things change very quickly in a matter of minutes and taking care of our dancers and families is our highest priority.

Fall Observation for Tuesday night will be postponed to next week. Thank you for understanding!

All classes can be made up by emailing [email protected]. Classes without an "equivalent" type of makeup class can be made up in another kind of class.

Fall Class Observations start this week. Come see what your dancer has been working on since September.

Check the schedule in the slides above — a few classes have observer limits due to studio size, so plan ahead. Teen and Adult classes don’t have scheduled observation, but you can request it by emailing [email protected].
