Here's what a day at the Ballet Wichita Academy Summer Intensive actually looks like.

For Full Intensive dancers, your morning starts at 10:30 with a combined warm-up and conditioning session. From there, the day moves through ballet technique, pointe, and elective classes — contemporary, jazz, musical theatre, variations, choreography, classical repertoire — led by guest faculty from professional companies and universities across the country. You wrap at 4:00.

For Pre-Pointe and Beginning Pointe dancers, your morning runs 9:00 to 11:30 — focused, intentional work on technique, conditioning, strength, and alignment, with teachers who know exactly what a dancer's body needs at this stage.

Every day builds on the last. Two weeks go by fast!

The Ballet Wichita Academy Full Summer Intensive closes with an informal student showcase — a chance for every dancer in the program to perform the work they've built over two weeks, in front of the people who matter most to them.

Guest faculty from professional companies and universities across the country, two weeks of focused daily training, and an environment designed to challenge dancers at every level.
