This is why we believe so deeply in the power of fitness, movement, and opportunity.

Watching these athletes compete on a national stage, breaking personal records, winning medals, setting a NATIONAL RECORD, and refusing to give up even when a shoe comes off with 20 meters to go, is something special.

We are so proud of Carson, Jed, Sammi, Micah, Isabel, Karter, and every Wichita Adaptive Sports athlete who competed at Nationals.

Through the Genesis Foundation for Fitness & Tennis, we are honored to help support 34 WAS athletes, but they are the ones doing the hard part. They show up. They train. They push themselves. They overcome obstacles. And they remind all of us what is possible when someone is given the opportunity to chase their potential.

Someone sat down and wrote this about their teacher.

Barbara has spent 14 years teaching Pre-K 4 Special Ed. She writes IEPs late into the night. She serves on committees for teachers who aren't even hers. And somewhere in there she's a wife, a mom, a daughter, and the friend who always shows up.
