Hit the courts for an exciting day of tennis, fun, and social play October 3 from 1 to 4pm! Party at the Net is the perfect way to meet new players, enjoy friendly competition, and experience a unique twist on the game. Whether you're a seasoned player or just getting started, there's something for everyone! Event staff will be available to pair up newcomers and answer any questions.

After the check-In & warm-up, get ready for the Up & Down the River Doubles, which is a fast-paced, rotating doubles play for all skill levels! Courts are ranked from top to bottom. After each round of 25-minute matches, winners will move up a court and losing teams move down. Partners split and get paired with a new teammate each round and play continues until the final round.

Then, experience the excitement of Triples Tennis Play. A quick demo will introduce the rules of this three-player team format, then just jump in and play. Riverside Tennis Center is proud to share an exciting milestone for our young athletes. On August 30, twelve of our players, ages 8-12, participated in the US Open’s Net Generation On‑Court Experience - an extraordinary opportunity to step onto a stadium court at the historic Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

The adventure began the moment they left Wichita. Emmett and his grandpa Kevin found themselves on the same flight as Brent and Hayden, turning travel day into a fun start to the journey. After arriving in New York, the group made the most of the evening with a quick visit to Times Square, taking in the bright lights and unforgettable atmosphere.

Once inside the US Open stadium, the experience became even more memorable. The kids received instructions on how to enter the court, practiced lining up in the tunnel, and learned the steps leading up to their moment on the court. Their highlight came when they stepped into the stadium and hit balls on one of tennis’s most iconic courts - a moment they will cherish for years to come.

We are thrilled for our players and grateful for the opportunity to represent Riverside Tennis Center at such a prestigious event. It was a wonderful experience for these young athletes, and we were excited to cheer them on as they made lasting memories at the US Open!
