If you're looking to get started for your first time on the slopes or you just want to improve your techniques, we offer a wide range of lessons to cater to your needs. Our group lessons are a great option if you enjoy learning with others, or if you prefer 1-on-1 learning, we offer private lessons as well! For those who want to continue their learning throughout the season, we offer multi-week lesson programs to ensure your ready to go!

My name is Grant and I am the new content specialist at Hidden Valley.

I have been working at HV for what is going on my 5th season, starting off as a Lift Operator, then a Terrain Park Attendant, and as Terrain Park Supervisor this last season. Over the last few years I have gained knowledge in the creative field while working for various employers, two of them being St. Louis University and the St. Louis Cardinals.
I love mountain biking, snowboarding, and exploring what this world has to offer!

More Important Highlights:
❄️ Facemasks, proof of vaccination and dining reservations will no longer be required.

❄️A new limit on day lift ticket sales will help preserve the experience, so be sure to buy your lift ticket or pass online ahead of time. While we don’t believe lift tickets will sell out every day, we do recommend you buy your lift access in advance.

❄️If you ski close to home at Hidden Valley a few times a season, an Epic Day Pass would be the best value for you. An Epic Day Pass provides up to 65% off lift ticket prices if you buy ahead and then use on a day of your choosing

This snowcat was purchased in 1984 and served as the only groomer at Hidden Valley for 18 years. It’s grooming years ended around the year 2000. After that, this snowcat was used as a utility vehicle and occasionally for pushing snow when needed. It was officially retired from duty in 2010.

Today, it serves as a symbol of Hidden Valley’s history and all the hard work that went into building and maintaining a ski hill here in Missouri.

I am excited to introduce myself. Tony Santora here, the new GM of Hidden Valley. I am taking over social media today to answer a few questions – but more importantly, I want to hear from you. Please take a moment to share your favorite thing about Hidden Valley in the comments.

Q: Where are you moving from Tony?

⛷️ I am moving from Salt Lake City, UT, where I was born and raised. I enjoy telling people that I moved from the mountains of ⛰️ ‘Utah to St. Louis’ for the skiing!

Q: As the new GM, what are you most excited to learn more about?

⛷️I am looking forward to learning about the Midwest culture and what makes this region unique. I can already see the passion for skiing and riding is strong, but there is so much more to experience.

Q: What is the Hidden Valley team focused on this summer?

⛷️ We are working hard to get the resort ready for next season. This includes capital improvements in the lodge, and some of the loading and unloading ramps on our lifts, as well as annual maintenance that is required every year around the resort.

Q: Do you ski or snowboard?

⛷️I do both! I started skiing at the age of 2, and switched over to snowboarding when I was 14. Recently, I have been switching between the two, depending on the conditions and my mood for the day.

Q: What is your favorite thing about the Midwest so far?

⛷️The people that I have met and the Midwest hospitality. The team here at the resort is a great group of people that are dedicated to making the resort a great place to ski and ride. Everyone that I have met in St Louis, and the surrounding areas have been so incredibly welcoming and willing to make me feel at home here in St. Louis.
