✨ THROWBACK! ✨

This spectacular early-80’s brochure depicts Hunt’s Pier shortly after the addition of the Ranger ride for the 1982 season.

All of the pier’s original “super custom” attractions were intact and thriving, including the Golden Nugget Mine Ride, Jungleland and the Pirate Ship SKUA, along with the Flyers roller coaster, Log Flume, Keystone Kops and Wacky Shack.

However, the winds of change would soon begin to blow, and by the end of the decade, the landscape would be much altered (both on Hunt’s and elsewhere on the Boardwalk).

This snapshot in time allows us to remember the “Oceanic Wonderland” at what was, arguably, its peak.
