Yesterday graduating senior Jennifer Palmer was presented with a special recognition plaque for her goal setting record for Ansonia High School Girls Soccer

Jennifer Palmer finished her high school soccer career with 86 Goals, 14 Assists, and earned First Team All NVL each of her for years at AHS.

Her plaque will be housed within the trophy cases at Ansonia High School

Well Done Jennifer, a record that will certainly be tough to surpass.

We have another College Graduate! Congratulations to our class of 2022 alumni Maya Frager on graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 3.93 GPA, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders with a minor in Business Administration from SouthernConnecticut State University.

In the fall Maya will be returning to Southern to pursue her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, where she will begin clinics and continue taking steps toward becoming an SLP.

Graduation season is in full swing for our alumni. Please help us recognize and congratulate Haylee Johnson and Kiely Geoghan, both AHS Girls Soccer Alumni from the Class of 2022.

Haylee and Kiely both attend Kings College in Pennsylvania and both graduated with a major in Health Studies in Life Sciences with minors in Biology and Neuroscience, and they both just finished their first year of their Masters of Physician Assistant degrees.

Each year the CIAC recognizes the top Scholar Athletes at each High School in CT for being both top in their class as well as a high school athlete. This Award is such a tremendous accomplishment given the commitment and effort it takes to achieve both success in the classroom as well as on the field.

The Ansonia High School Girls Soccer team would like to congratulate Jessica Apanowicz on winning the 2026 CIAC Scholar Athlete Award. Jessica has year after year embodied hard work, commitment, and endless effort. Congratulations Jessica! We couldn't be Prouder.

We would like to Congratulate fellow classmate Benjamin Brejwo who was also awarded the CIAC Scholar Athlete Award.

And we had a bonus Award winner today from Emmett O'Brien's Shea Brickett, Shea has played Tennis for the Ansonia High School Girls Tennis for the past 4 years. Congratulations Shea! Well Done.
