Congratulations to our very own James Ziobro for winning the 2026 BWBL Most Improved Player!

The 2026 BWBL Most Improved award goes to James Ziobro of Scared Hitless!

The long-time league veteran put together a career season in 2026, leading the entire BWBL in batting average (.656) and OBP (.741). This was a huge improvement from his 2025 season which saw him slash .333/.438 across the same categories. In addition, James drove in 40 runs in 2026, a 54% increase from the 26 seen in 2025. These impressive numbers at the plate also earned James a Silver Slugger award nomination.

He beat out Aiden O'Haire and Brandon Wozniak for the award.

Tomorrow's announcement is for the Captain of the Year.

This October, we will be BACK at the United Wiffle World Championship for the first time since 2022! ⚡️
