2️⃣ Best ERA… Brandon had a .86 ERA & 6-0 Record!!
Brandon will be heading to Bloomsburg University in a few weeks to start his college career for the Huskies under Coach Collins as they look to secure their 3rd PSAC Championship in the past 5 seasons!!

The Miners won Saturday’s ECCBL semifinal 6-5. Jack Mathis lead the offense with 2 hits and 2 runs batted in. Colby Butczynski and Brandon Wozniak combined for 10 strikeouts. The Miners advance to Sunday’s ECCBL Championship game at 1pm @ Memorial Park in Quakertown.

The Miners also secured the #1 seed in playoffs, a first round bye, & play at 1pm in Quakertown this Saturday in the semifinal! With a win, The Miners will play for the CHAMPIONSHIP at Quakertown on Sunday! Let’s gooo!!

The Miners took 2 today in comeback fashion, clinching the number 1 seed in the North division. In Game 1, Matt Moreira pitched lights out going 5 innings, striking out 6. The offense in game 1 was led by Jack Mathis and Josh Bottger each collecting 2 hits.
In Game 2, the Miners were down 6-1 in the 7th with their backs against the wall, putting up a 7 spot. Daniels was 3-5, Melberger’s base clearing double gave the Miners the lead.

The Miners took back sole possession of 1st place today after a 13-3 victory over the Southside Railers. Jack Mathis and Luke Spencer each homered twice. Nate Dudek was 2-4 w 4 RBIs and a homer of his own. Jake Memoli earned the win on the mound, giving up only 2 hits in 6 innings.
The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre defeated Southside 3-0 on Thursday. The Miners got on the board in the 2nd inning after Luke Spencer started things off with a single. After making his way to third base, he scored when Luke Kopec grounded out to second base. Matt Moreira was strong on the mound, throwing 3.0 shutout innings. In the bottom half of the 3rd, JP Kuczik extended the lead with a 2RBI double inning, ultimately being enough to lead the Miners to a win. Jack Mathis and Payton Waruck both tallied 2 hits.
Colby Butczynski was first in relief, throwing 5.0 innings scoreless and allowing only 3 hits. Nate Dudek recorded the final 3 outs of the game.

Jack Mathis collected 3 hits as the Miners defeated Southside 7-1 on Friday at ECTB Park. Brandon Wozniak collected the win, pitching 5 innings of shutout relief. Jake Millan and JP Kuczik each had doubles.
“The Miners used a combined 2 hit shutout in game 1, and a 6 run 1st inning in game 2 to take both games in Saturdays doubleheader against Trenton. Brandon Wozniak earned the win in game 1, allowing just 2 hits through 6 innings. The offensive success in game 2 was led by Jake Millan and JP Kuczik, who each added 2 hits in the effort.”

“The Miners defeated Quakertown 1-0 on Wednesday night at Memorial Park. Eli Peifer led a shutout effort, aided in relief by Ethan Grodack and Dustin Ferraro. Brandon Wozniak earned the 6 out save for the Miners.”

The Miners defeat Southside 7-2 on Tuesday at ECTB Park. Miners offense was lead by Devin Markert, Jeremy Cawley, and Jack Mathis with 2 hits each. The winning pitcher was Nate Dudek with 0 ER over 3 innings.
