i’ve been slacking on posting the race updates so i’ll try my hardest to update everything in july😅
saturday night we went to macon, IL. Chase got 4th quick times in hot laps, he then got put on the pull on the heat race. he was leading, until the car in second made contact & spun him out. this put him in 9th for the feature event, making his way up to 3rd! TOP 3!!
we are so proud of chase, it was so exciting to finally finish a race with little car issues that were able to be worked out at the track!
july 17th- Macon, IL.
Chase qualified 2nd quick in his hot laps, 5th overall. after that, this race was rained out.
july 11th- Bloomington, IN
Bloomington had no transponders to record lap times in the qualifying, so they did the pill draw. Chase got put 4th in the heat race. He ended up having a broken right front shock, resulting in 6th place. Dad (or Josh lol) was also running this night, but was having motor issues. So he decided he was done running & put the shock from his car onto chases, resulting in chase getting 3rd for the B main. In the feature, a car had spun out in front of chase causing him to slide right into them & tipping his car over.
June 30th & July 1st- BC39 Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Dad & Chris both ran in the BC39. I don’t recall much of this race, but I know dad had blown up his engine & could not finish.
Huge shoutout to our race crew, especially dad, who works endlessly getting these cars ready & put together, even with a broken back & a 3 yr old, & to everyone else who helps out when they can! We appreciate all of you more than you know.
