More than just a bow—
At Williamsburg Dojo, how we end each class is just as meaningful as how we begin. Our closing bows remind our students that martial arts is about more than techniques—it’s about respect, gratitude, strength, heart, humility, discipline, and self-respect.

🙏 We bow to our Guru, instructors, and our martial arts family in respect and gratitude.
👊 Fists crossed over our chest represent strength.
❤️ Hands to the heart remind us to lead with heart, courage, and humility.
🙏 And our final bow is to ourselves—to honor our effort, discipline, growth, and self-respect.
