Williamsburg Hornets Football and Cheerleading Williamsburg Hornets Youth Football and Cheerleading League.

The objective of the Williamsburg Youth Football and Cheerleading League (WYFCL) is to teach boys and girls, six to fourteen years old, the physical and mental skills of individual responsibility and teamwork through playing the game of football, cheerleading and their related activities.

SWARM CENTER | WEEK 4 RECAP

Homecoming Weekend belonged to the Williamsburg Hornets.

Weather interrupted play. Saturday turned into Sunday. But when the final whistle blew, the Hornets had handled business against the Back River Bulls across the board.

Every team. Every game. Every win.
A HOMECOMING SWEEP.

And the Queen Bees? STILL UNDEFEATED.

Let’s get into it.

6U FLAG:King Redding broke free for a 45-yard TD, while Brody Hartman added a rushing TD and connected with Gunner Sprigg for two. Kaiden Bradsby, Duke Compton and Sprigg helped lead a defense that allowed just ONE first down.

QUEEN BEES: The 10U game went into double overtime. Toriya Evans rushed for 60 yards and a TD. Allani Wynne added a receiving TD and two-point conversion, Runiyah Todd threw for 80 yards and a TD, and Emani Morton added 60 receiving yards and a score. Treasure Lee added three tipped passes and four flags for loss.

At 14U, Phenix Palmer grabbed THREE interceptions and scored FIVE touchdowns, while Zanyia Skinner finished with a 100% completion rate.

Two squads. Still undefeated.

8U TACKLE: Weather stopped Saturday’s game, but 8U returned Sunday and finished the job. Harrison Joerger commanded the offensive line from center in crucial moments, while Bence Kondakor set the tone at inside linebacker.

10U TACKLE: What a finish. The Hornets won a double-overtime thriller in walk-off fashion on a Myles Brown TD. Brown topped 150 rushing yards with two scores. Charlie Sandberg completed five passes for 50 yards and added two tackles for loss. Candon McFarland, Titus Holbert and Aidan Wilbourne helped lead a defensive front that combined for five tackles for loss.

12U TACKLE: The big dogs closed the show. Elyas Carter scored THREE touchdowns, while Kellan Shannon brought the pressure with sacks on sacks.

HONEY BEES: Our Honey Bees kept Wanner Stadium loud and brought the Homecoming energy all weekend. No matter the weather, they made sure the Swarm was heard.

The names above made the highlight reel, but these wins belonged to EVERY athlete. Every game was a complete team effort, and every athlete played a role in the Homecoming sweep.

THE HEADLINE: The weather tried to slow us down. The Hornets finished what they started.

We tried our best to keep all of our teams on the field tonight, but unfortunately our tackle teams will have to finish things up tomorrow.

🏈🐝 IT’S HOMECOMING DAY! 💚💛

First things first — everyone send out ALL the positive vibes that the weather turns in our favor today! 🤞☀️ We’ve got a big day planned!

When you arrive, make sure you grab a Homecoming Game Day Program and a pom-pom! You’ll find them near the entrance or at the merchandise area by concessions inside the stadium.

💚 Please remember, we only have enough for two programs and two pom-poms per family, so please help us make sure every Hornets family gets some!

💚💛 A BIG shoutout to this group of Hornet parents and board members! 🐝

Tonight, they came together to put together close to 200 Homecoming gift bags — one for every Hornets athlete tomorrow!

There is so much work that goes on behind the scenes to make a day like Homecoming happen, and we truly couldn’t do it without people who are willing to show up, give their time, and help wherever they’re needed.

Thank you to everyone who helped make tonight happen and to everyone who has had a hand in getting us ready for tomorrow. It takes a lot of people to make the Hive run, and we appreciate you more than you know. 💚💛

Tomorrow is going to be a GREAT day to be a Hornet! 🐝
