Our last coach spotlight of the night!

Coach Kelly 🐍🐍

Kelly came to us last season with just intent of being there with her niece and helping when needed … we asked her to become a part of the coaching staff as she had been the head coach of another local team and had the experience under her belt! Kelly has been a blessing in disguise most days! When the Woodrings are running behind or chasing their 3 littles around trying to make it out the door, Kelly always makes sure everything at practice and games are taken care of and good to go! She has been Kaitlyn’s right hand man all season long! She has so much softball knowledge and the girls click to her so well. She is a great coach on and off the field!

She has made this coaching staff complete and we are so proud to have her apart of the Venom family! 💚💜

Coach Kaitlyn 🐍🐍

A little weird writing a post about myself but here we go!

This is my 3rd season managing since rebirthing Lady Venom! My dad and his Co Manager Heather started Venom back when I played ball when I was 14. Lady Venom has always been a part of my life and when my sister asked if I would start a Venom team back up… I decided yes! Let’s do it! I’ve missed being on that dirt since the last game I ever played at 17 years old in States (Ohio). Being on the coaching side of Venom has been a learning and humbling experience BUT I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I enjoy my weekends being on the fields with my girls! I have always thought of all the Venom girls as my own kids! This season I will continue to focus on our pitchers as the pitching coach! (On top of everything else haha!)

I only hope that I can continue to be a small part of shaping them into amazing young adults and teaching them lessons about both life and softball. While I am their coach I also try to be a friend they will always have! (But the girls know when it’s serious time 🤣, I think they are catching on to my faces and tones in my voice)

I can not wait to see where this season goes!

Coach Steve 🐍🐍

Steve is going on his second season coaching with Venom and has really taken to the coaching lifestyle! He has built a great relationship with the girls, always keeps them on their toes and pumped up!

This season he has taken a real passion to catching and will be focusing on really progressing our catchers and making them a force to be reckoned with!

Coach Steve is so beneficial to this Venom family! 💚💜

Yesterday our girls fell short on our 3 games and had a bit of a rough day but this morning girls found their groove and came out with a W!

Next game is around 11:30-12 as long as the rain holds off!
