HIRING Referees for AC Paintball $ 15 an hour (930 12th St. Buena Vista Township)
Immediate openings at ACpaintball. We are currently Interviewing for Paintball Referees . We are Conveniently located on Route 54 in Buena Vista Township, 08094. Our 80 acre venue includes Speedball, Hyperball and several Woodsball fields.

If you feel that refereeing paintball is for you text your request for an interview or send an email telling us what would make you a good paintball referee and you could be asked to start that day. Below is what the job entails as we only consider motivated individuals on an on-call as needed basis.
Brief job description:
Working as a Referee at a paintball field is an opportunity to supervise and help create great days of play for groups of individuals typically 6-15. The rental gear must be maintained and CLEANED which is done by YOU and at the end of each day. This job is very similar to running your own business, as a great deal of multitasking is required. Also you need to thrive on new challenges. There will be plenty of days when you go home visibly soiled. Keeping track of inventory and caring for gear is a must . If you enjoy the outdoors, your fellow human beings, have a positive mental attitude, can be assertive and are not afraid of physical challenges then this is the job for you.

Skills/Requirements for potential employees:

You must have played paintball actively or are a quick learner.
If you've been a referee at a paintball field or worked in a paintball Pro shop that's a home run.
Special consideration will be given to retired, honorably discharged and active duty military personal.
Special consideration will be given to retired or active police personnel.
__Must be 18 or older.
__Must be willing to learn to CLEAN, disassemble, repair and properly reassemble paintball guns especially Tippmann products.
__Need to be able or willing to learn to give coherent safety talks and explain basic safety rules in front of a group of people.
__Need to know entire field's pricing.
-- Must sell paint to your paintball players group.
__Need to have or be willing to get first aid/CPR certification.
__Must be able to pass criminal background check.
__Must be able to work with a groups.
__Must have Saturday availability as that is when most paintball games are played.
__Must have references upon request.
__Must have reliable transportation.

Compensation:
$ 15 an hour + Tips which are often quite generous. This is a great part time job, perfect as a second job or for college students. You can expect most of your work to be on Saturday. Sunday's and weekdays are more prevalent during the summer months.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing some of the best days of people's lives. You will referee kids birthday parties, bachelor parties and corporate team building . People are always happy when they arrive and if we do a great job they are ecstatic when they leave.
As a referee you must administer all rules and decide what constitutes "fair play" in all games, competitions, and related activities. Please remember the player safety is always your responsibility and primary concern. The referee really does make the difference between a good day and a bad day regarding the players for whom they are responsible.

This is an outdoor facility, open year-round. You will be required to work in the elements!
