Gloria update. The last two weeks have been challenging. She started doing what I call an elephant on a ball dance that was highly unusual and obviously showing she was in pain. I posted the video of her doing it only as an educational video for anyone else who may see a horse doing it. This was one of the shorter episodes. At first I was thinking it was something neurological causing it which was very scary!! Long story short she not only had a bad follicle but also a bad infection in her uterus. I blame the import process for that because they stick all kinds of things up into their reproductive system to test for diseases but that's a whole other story. During this discovery process we also did an autoimmune blood test that just came back indicating EPM. Based on her condition when she arrived we believe she had it before arrival. I'm excited that we are figuring out some of the pieces of the puzzle and she will be feeling better soon!

We are both happy girls!!!

Gloria finally has a large grass paddock of her own within the pasture. I even gave her a sand bed. I'm not sure who is happier...her or me :)
