Green Mountain Girls FHC

Green Mountain Girls will be hosting a week-long camp for our youngest athletes in elementary and middle school that will focus on skill development through fun interactive games and with counselors who are members of GMG's travel teams. This camp is intended for beginner and intermediate levels of experience.

Join us from June 16-19, 2025 (M-Th) from 8:30-12:00 for this summer's camp! our NEW location is at Rice Memorial High School (99 Proctor Avenue, South Burlington, VT). We will play on the turf, but may need to move into the school gym in the event of bad weather.

GMG is proud to support other amazing local programs and partners. If you’re looking for a bit more field hockey this winter (grades 2-6th) check out this great opportunity.

Saint Michael’s Field Hockey is hosting a Sticks and Smiles Clinic Program (3 sessions) for grades 2nd – 6th at the Tarrant Athletic Center Indoor Courts.
Dates: Sunday November 24, Sunday December 8, Sunday December 15.
Time: 8:30 am check in followed by 9:00 – 10:30 am instruction and small game play.
Instructors: Saint Michael’s Field Hockey Coaching Staff, Team Members and Local Coaches.
Cost: $100.00 for 3 sessions. There is no reduced cost for missed sessions.
Required equipment: Indoor shoes, shin guards, mouth guard, stick.
(Sticks will be available to lend out at sessions.)
Bring a filled water bottle.

The goal of this program is to introduce the sport of field hockey in a fun and energetic environment. Basic skill instruction followed by game play will be included in each session. If a young person would like to play goal keeper we will introduce aspects of the position if not able to provide your own equipment.

Session Schedule:
8:30 – 9:00 am Check in at Tarrant Athletic Center Lobby
9:00 – 9:45 am Instruction in basic skills including dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, defending.
9:45 – 10:30 am Coached small game play (4 v 4, 5 v 5, 6 v 6)
