If you’ve been to Savannah Country Club, chances are you’ve been greeted by Ben, and probably with a bright smile, a wave and a “good morning” that could brighten even the earliest tee time.

A Savannah native and with us at SCC since 1968, Ben has welcomed generations of members, guests and even a few famous faces through our doors. But whether you’re a celebrity, a longtime member or visiting for the first time, Ben treats everyone the same...with kindness, respect and that signature warm welcome that NEVER gets old.

For Ben, SCC isn’t just a place to work. It’s family. And after 57 years now, we think it’s safe to say he’s earned the title of SCC legend. Thank you for all that you do, Ben!

Golf events are coming in hot at SCC! ⛳️

October is shaping up to be a big month for golf at SCC! Two exciting tournaments, plenty of competition, and a whole lot happening both on and off the course.

🏆 Club Championship | October 17–18
It’s time to crown our 2026 Club Champions! This 36-hole stroke play event features Men’s, Ladies, Senior and Super Senior divisions, with Gross & Net payouts. 36-Hole Stroke Play Event. Tee times begin at 8:30 AM, followed by lunch and draft b**r in the Bar after Sunday’s round! Please Note: The Club Championship Division will be combined with the Member Division.

Three days of golf, food and fun! The weekend includes a practice round, Players-Only Steak Dinner, Shamble, Shot Across the Pond, Karaoke Mixer, One Net Best Ball and our “Saturdays in the South” Lunch Tailgate following final round.

Yesterday’s tennis lesson got a little ✨extra✨ in honor of Natasha’s birthday! The ladies showed up in their brightest neon, topped it all off with the cutest pink cowgirl hats, and turned the court into a full-blown birthday celebration. 💕🎂🎾

The teams have been drafted. The drinks have been poured. The popcorn has been popped. 🍿🍷⛳️

Last night, our Ladies Solheim Cup captains found out who they’ll be taking into battle this season...and let’s just say the draft room was feeling VERY confident.

Between the team reveals, a little shopping thanks to Smith & Quinn’s trunk show, and a drink (or two… or three 👀), the only thing missing was an actual tee time. Now that the teams are officially locked in, it’s time to see who can actually back up all that confidence. 😉🏆

Ladies tee off tonight for first round of scores, and we can't wait to see how this plays out throughout the season! GOOOO GIRLS!
