Sunday's Race started off qualifying 9th. Then in Heat Race #1 broke 3 of the seat bracing and DNF. Ran it back into the garage for emergency welding, which held for the Finals. Started 12th (last) and ended up 4 places to 8th. Still working out the the new kart.
Next race is the coming Sunday!

Long day of repairs improvements and valuable seat time on a Sunday Test Day.
Hard to get used to how a new kart needs to be driven. That's why we are here!! Improving every second!!

A difficult debut of the new kart today.
Need to narrow up the rear axle to gain some much needed grip with new tires. Need some more seat time to dial it in. Next race in 2 weeks!!

Today's race was postponed, due to the possibility of inclement weather.
So...we took a chance on a new-to-us kart!
Looks good and seems to be quick!
Thanks to Elm Williams and Ron at Wilmington Raceway Park for helping us swap out Drew's seat for a more comfortable fit!

The 2026 season started off with a race cancellation due to rain this morning. We did get some good practice and testing in the afternoon.
Made a serious brake upgrade and tried some new gear ratios. It was a good productive day!
Race #2 is next Sunday May 17! Cya there!!
