I attended and graduated from UNCW in 2003. One of my favorite things about going to school there was the basketball games and the atmosphere at Trask Coliseum!
Watching Brett Blizzard and Company dominate the CAA for 4 years was just amazing!

Great write up on a great coach. I was sold on Coach Burke's ability to college D1 basketball when I saw how our guys took to him and his teaching when CB was let go. Our kids played hard, fast and with a purpose for Coach Burke!
While I am elated that Takayo Siddle came home and gets his shot, I cant help but wish good things for Coach Burke. I wish there was a way to retain him on staff but at the same time Coach Siddle needs his guys for a big rebuild ahead.
That said I wish nothing but the best for Rob and will cheer for him wherever he lands. So sorry to hear about the passing of his father too! Here is to you Coach Burke! Class act!

This is HUGE news for UNCW Men's basketball! Joe avg 17 ppg as a true freshman at Holy cross last year!
He will have to sit out the 20-21 season but will have 3 years of eligibility after that in Wilmington.
