Photos: 1,500 brave the cold in Wrightsville Polar Plunge People in Wrightsville Beach jumped in the ocean for the annual Polar Plunge to benefit Communities In Schools of Cape Fear.

The 2025 Masters Funvitational was a success! We maxed out with 160 swimmers, one popped inner tube and a bunch of fried chicken and BBQ. We had over 50 raffle prizes to win and a lot of happy people. Thank you to all of the companies and individuals that made donations for the raffle in support of this event. We could not have been successful without our donors and all of the volunteers that held everything together. Every single person helped to make this one incredible day. THANK YOU!!!
