Ace Island Disc Golf

Last week I got to visit the place where the most magical moments of my career have rolled out so far. 🫶

We played Emporia Country Club, where I got my World Championship title last year. 🥳 This year my game was not looking as great as last year. I could feel some anxiety in my body and mind, that was related to some other stuff - not directly associated to my game. Me recognizing this and saying to myself how useless and unnecessary this feeling was, didn't really help me shake this off. Sometimes it helped me and I was able to pick myself up and focus on the shot at hand, but at other times I could feel the focus fade away again, resulting in me making weird mistakes on the course.

I ended up in 4th place which overall is a great result in my opinion, but I look forward to cleaning up my mistakes and giving another good battle in Des Moines this week. 🫶
