It’s marathon day! How many of our friends ran this AM?!

Weather looks great!!! It's not too late to sign up for the SunTrust Bank 1 mile and 5k Glow Run!! Come get your Glow on. On-site Registration closes at 6PM for the 1 mile and 5k - Race starts at 6:20!!! : Exercising in winter conditions can be tough! Here's a piece of wardrobe advice for those of you embracing the freeze warning❄️

1. DRESS DRY
The quickest way to lose body heat is to get wet 💦
🚫 Avoid cotton active wear because it absorbs rain and holds moisture.
✅Opt for polyester or nylon because they are designed to dry quickly.

2. DRESS WARM - LAYERS
Layers trap warm air next to your body and keep out rain🌧
1️⃣ Start with a thin base layer made of synthetic fabrics (polyester or nylon) to pull sweat away from your skin.
2️⃣ If it’s really cold, wear a middle layer of something warm, like fleece.
3️⃣ Then, add an outer layer - a lightweight nylon windbreaker or waterproof jacket should suffice. 👍🏻
