Young Fred was excited about catching his first cobia with me over the weekend that he wanted to book another trip for this morning. We had to keep it close because of the wind, but the bite didn't disappoint. Found a school of over slot redfish and wore them out! I have a few days open next week, let's go do some catching.

Was in a bit of a slump this week with the big moon and the easterly winds. But the early bite was on fire! Went 2 for 2 on cobia. Kept one for dinner and released one for another day. Also had some nice trigger fish and sea bass. We still have some openings before the end of the month. Happy 4th of July to all my fellow fishermen!

Had the pleasure of taking a long time friend out on a trip today. Took a little while to find them, but when we did it was on. Stripers are starting to make their way up river. Give me a call and get in on the action!

Had the day off from running clients off the beach. The old man wanted to go to the cape fear river and get a sunrise topwater bite. And boy it did not disappoint! Got some reds and speckys in the thick fog. Then hit the rock bottoms when the fog lifted and loaded up on sheepheads. The river bite is on fire.Book a trip and let's go to some catching!

Dad might be 77 years old, but you couldn't tell today. The old man fought this 45 pound bull red on 12lb tackle with a trout rod for a half hour. Congrats old man! The old drum are chewing, got dates available.
