The UNCW Aquatics Department is holding a Lifeguard Certification Course. Your chance to get certified and save lives!

When:
Friday, Sept. 12 | 5:15 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday, Sept. 13 | 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday, Sept. 14 | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
‼️YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND ALL SKILL SESSIONS TO REGISTER FOR THE COURSE‼️

Students who successfully complete an interview and lifeguard skill assessment and commit to working with us will be reimbursed for half the cost of the course.

Congratulations to all of our graduating Seahawks! We’re especially proud of our team members Grace, Amanda, and Rainey. The aquatics team will miss you, and we are wishing you all the best in what comes next!

This weekend, Amanda wrapped up teaching her final lifeguarding class before graduation.
She’s been a consistent leader on our deck—mentoring future guards, bringing professionalism to every class, and setting a high standard for what it means to serve. Her impact will be felt long after she leaves.

Thank you, Amanda, for your dedication and leadership. We’re so proud of you!

Our Aquatics team has been on a mission to recruit summer staff—but we may have gotten a little too enthusiastic. Meet our newest team member! He’s always on time, never complains, and has a perfect float… but he’s not much of a talker.
