So… what actually happens during a lesson at Seahorse Stables? 🐴🌿It starts long before we ever get in the saddle.
We slow down, greet our horses, and leave the rest of the day outside the barn. Then we groom, learning to care for our horse and build trust. Next comes tacking up, where riders learn about each piece of tack and how it functions.
And finally? We ride. Because for us, riding lessons aren’t just about learning to ride a horse. They’re about learning to communicate, care for another animal, build confidence, and create a relationship rooted in trust.
Relationship first. Riding second. ✨

🎒➡️🐴 Back to school means it’s time to get back in the saddle!
As backpacks come out and new routines begin, we’re ready for afternoons at the barn, brushing horses, learning new skills, and spending a little more time in the saddle. 🤎
There’s something pretty special about growing alongside a horse—and we can’t wait to see what this season brings for our riders!

Do you love horses, adore animals, enjoy being around children, and feel happiest working outside on a farm?
We may be looking for you!
Seahorse Stables is looking for a reliable, responsible, detail-oriented Stable Hand to join our farm team on Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings.
This is a hands-on position for someone who genuinely enjoys farm life and caring for animals. Our ideal candidate:
🐴 Has experience and a background with horses
❤️ Truly adores animals and takes pride in their care
👀 Has excellent attention to detail
🌱 Enjoys working outdoors and doesn't mind getting dirty
👧 Enjoys being around children and families on the farm
🐓 Is comfortable helping with animal encounters and hands-on farm experiences
✨ Is dependable, responsible, observant, and willing to pitch in wherever needed
This isn't just a “barn job.” Our farm is a place where horses, children, animals, families, and learning all come together, and we're looking for someone who genuinely loves being part of that environment.
