I received this testimonial today, and I cried.
I’ve opened In Balance in 2002, and I have poured everything I have into creating a space that feels safe, warm, supportive, smart, focused, fun, and honestly just EVERYTHING for the people who walk through our doors.
I know they say you cannot make everyone happy, but I really do try.
I take my responsibility as a studio owner and teacher so, so, so very seriously. The care. The energy. The intention. None of it is accidental.
It’s been twenty-three years of showing up, learning, and growing, for this space and for the people in it.
So when someone takes the time to write something like this…something this honest and thoughtful and deeply personal… it hits me right in the heart.
This may have made me sob this morning. Just maybe.

Olivia and I received this picture with this message last week. This is what makes In Balance special. This is why Pilates at In Balance Pilates Studio is MORE than just exercise.
“Playing bocce this morning and this picture seems totally random. But, this is something I could absolutely NOT do 4 years ago- maybe not even a year ago.
