Still here and still kick'in it!

Spartan was gracious enough to reinstate all my "missed" races from 2020... I still have a long way to go to get back to my previous fitness but having FOUR SPARTANS in front of me is good motivation!!

Had a decent race with my jacked up back until I had a GREAT idea to box jump on the podium... and missed! Nine stitches later and back to no running for two weeks.

I really am my own worst enemy this year... SMH

Plagued with injuring this year... Failure of closure S1 and as you can see, some pretty serious pelvic unleveling. The last two months I've fought through the pain to simply stay active and on some days, can't even put on socks and shoes.

I will heal and I will return!!!!

Challenging day today... I've been plagued with Hamstring tendinitis and chanced racing today. Felt that with physical therapy and laser therapy I would be capable... WRONG!!! Tendon tightened up, then Hamstring and eventually massive charlie horse and was done.

Desperately want to get back and can't figure all the small things going wrong with my physiology. Missing Blueprint for Fitness. Wish they would start the testing process again.

Considering SPARTAN Ashville in July but fitness is suspect currently.

NHRMC Wrightsville Beach Half Marathon in the books.

Even under the weather it's not a bad result. Thinking about doing another this year now that I've established a benchmark.
