Academy Football Club is proud to congratulate Payton Goines on her selection to the US Youth Futsal International Team.

This August, Payton will represent the United States in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, competing against top international clubs while training alongside some of the nation's best young futsal players. It is an incredible achievement that reflects years of commitment, discipline, and a relentless desire to improve.

At Academy FC, we believe opportunities like this are earned through consistent work, a love for the game, and the courage to pursue excellence every day. Payton's selection is a proud moment for her family, her teammates, our coaches, and our entire club community.

Congratulations, Payton. We can't wait to watch you represent both Academy Football Club and the United States on the international stage.

TRAINING TIME ADJUSTMENT – TONIGHT

To give our AFC families the opportunity to train and still make it home in time to support the U.S. Men's National Team in tonight's FIFA World Cup Round of 16 match against Belgium, this evening's training schedule has been adjusted.

U8–U12: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
U13–U18: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Thank you for your flexibility as we continue to prioritize both player development and the opportunity for our families to enjoy an exciting night of international soccer together.

Final Registration Opportunity: NCFC North Carolina 3v3 Championships

Academy Sports Club is currently finalizing teams for the NCFC North Carolina 3v3 Championships on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The 3v3 format provides an outstanding developmental environment by increasing player involvement throughout the game. Athletes benefit from more touches on the ball, faster decision-making opportunities, greater creativity, and increased confidence in match situations.

Participation is open to Boys and Girls U8 through U19 and welcomes players of all experience levels.

Registration Information
• $50 refundable deposit to reserve your player's place
• Deposits will be fully refunded if a team cannot be formed in your athlete's age group
• Team formation will be completed this soon, and roster availability is limited

Academy Sports Club is a club-neutral program that welcomes athletes from all organizations. Our focus is to provide additional competitive opportunities that support individual player development while fostering creativity, confidence, and enjoyment of the game.

Too often, players spend the summer moving from one clinic to the next without a consistent developmental plan. Real progress comes from quality repetitions, detailed coaching, and an environment that challenges players week after week.

The Academy Football Club Summer Intensive is a club-neutral technical training program designed for athletes who want to continue developing throughout the offseason.

Our training environment emphasizes:

• Technical mastery and ball confidence
• Decision-making under pressure
• High-repetition, purposeful training
• Small group coaching with individualized feedback
• Long-term player development over short-term entertainment

Open to players ages 7-18 from any club, school, or training background, the Summer Intensive provides an opportunity to continue improving while preparing for the upcoming season.

Consistent, focused training produces better players. Random clinics rarely do.
