Leroy Prescod: Security Officer of the Year

Over the past year and a half, Leroy has been one of Golden Seal Enterprises’ most dependable and consistent performers. His reliability, positive attitude, professionalism, and unmatched attendance record set him apart, and he represents GSE to our client at the highest standard every day. Leroy is a steady, trusted presence on site, respected by residents, vendors, and fellow officers alike and is known for delivering exceptional customer service while doing the right thing even when no one is watching. He embodies the integrity and professionalism GSE stands for, making this recognition both well-earned and well-deserved.

Due to inclement weather expected this weekend, training originally scheduled for Monday, January 26 has been moved to Friday, January 30. Classes effected are DCJS Security Officer Core Subjects In-Service (01I), DCJS Handgun In-Service (07R), and Stop the Bleed! Class times will remain the same for Friday.

As we celebrate Christmas, we are reminded that every good and perfect gift comes from above.

This season calls us back to what matters most; faith, family, and gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy in this great nation. We’re grateful for the chance to serve our communities and for the many people who made this year a successful one.

To our veterans, we extend our deepest gratitude. Your service reflects a commitment far greater than self; one rooted in duty, loyalty, and love of country. You carried the weight of a nation so that others could live in peace, and for that, we remain forever grateful.

We had a great day on the range with guests from the Willing Warriors Retreat (SOWW). It’s always an honor to spend time with our nation’s heroes and their families, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to give back in a small way.

This Memorial Day we remember the brave men and women who gave everything; their future, their dreams, and their lives so that we might live ours in freedom. Their sacrifice demands more than passing gratitude. It calls us to live lives worthy of their loss.

They did not choose comfort or safety. They chose duty. They stepped forward when it mattered most, and in doing so, became the quiet architects of our liberty. We honor them not with words alone, but by how we carry forward the values they died to protect: courage, integrity, unity, and resolve.

Let us also remember the families who carry their absence at every gathering, every birthday, every quiet moment. Their grief is the high price of our freedom. We stand with them, with reverence, with gratitude, and with a promise never to forget.
