I enjoy seeing what my friends are up to and their personal accomplishments. I like seeing what events are coming up that I otherwise wouldn’t know about. Otherwise, social media (for me) serves no purpose. I’ve never received a job offer from someone viewing my social media content. It’s a dopamine hit that is unnecessary and most of the time unhealthy. Nothing gained. Do I actually need to be posting this on social media??? Nope. But if one of my ‘friends’ can see this and it disrupts the senseless mind-vomit that comes from the delusion that people actually care about anyone else’s views on anything which leads to a more productive use of time… That maybe it’s worth it?
