Congrats to our swimmers that competed in the MVS Long Course District Championships last weekend in Topeka! Michael and Sydney represented Winfield Swim Club, while Kendall and Bexley represented their year-round team, Great Plains Swim Club, per USA Swimming regulations! Congrats to all!

One of the things that makes our club so special is you - our volunteers, parents, supporters, etc. Your time, dedication, and willingness to help make it possible for us to provide the experience our swimmers, and the Winfield swim community, have come to expect. We truly couldn't do it without you.

From time to time, we have opportunities for you to get even more involved by serving on our Board. Right now, we have one open position available.

If you've been looking for a way to give back to the community and help shape the future of our club, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for at least one motivated individual who loves swimming, cares about our club, and wants to help our club continue to thrive.

5:40pm: Timers & Place Judge Meeting (NE corner of pool)
5:45pm: Officials Meeting (NE corner of pool)
5:50pm: National Anthem
5:52pm: Kick Board Race
6:00pm: Event #1

Winfield Swim Club Home Practice takes place Monday-Friday mornings for 1-1.5 hours based age/skill level. We swim in the Great Plains Swim League under Missouri Valley. Dual swim meets happen on Tuesday evenings. Swimmers under age 6 please contact our head coach at the email below for approval.

See this note from El Dorado Swim Club about parking at the pool this weekend! It's muddy there, too!

Dear Families and Friends,

Due to the recent weather, the field east of the pool is unavailable for parking. Please park only on the streets and refrain from parking on the grass.

As the pool is located in a residential area, please be respectful of private driveways and yards. As shown in the attached image, the area highlighted in red is strictly off-limits.

We apologize for the parking changes and the limited space. Thank you for your patience and understanding given this month's unpredictable weather.

League Finals volunteer positions are posted! If you didn't volunteer, you may have been assigned to a position. Check the spreadsheet on the link below to make sure! (There are 2 tabs...one for Friday and one for Saturday).

If you were assigned to a position, and are unable to fulfill that assignment, it is your responsibility to find a replacement. If you must find a replacement, please notify the Board of the change so we can communicate that change with the GPSL.

Winfield Swim Club parents and friends,

League Finals is THIS Friday and Saturday, and we have MANY volunteer positions to fill. We need timers ⏱️ and place judges 🥇 for both days. So, grab a friend or two and choose a spot to fill!

If everyone steps up and takes one slot, we should have these filled in no time! Please remember that Winfield Swim Club is a volunteer-run organization, and without your help...we will not be able to continue to provide the opportunity for your kids to swim!

Please note: Thursday morning, we will begin assigning families to volunteer positions for both the GPSL Finals meet, and our meet with Haysville on 7/2. And we will begin with those families that have not yet volunteered this year. If you want to be able to pick your volunteer position, you have the rest of today (Wednesday) to get signed up.
