Gear up for next weeks play ⛳️
Tuesdays tournament style is O-N-E-S — where you use the total of the holes that start with O, N, E or S and subtract 1/2 your handicap for net!
no need to stress about figuring all that out, our monthly tournament committee members get everything lined out for us — we really appreciate their hard work 🫶🏼
See you out there next week — if you’re interested in joining ladies club or have any questions, it’s not too late! Message us anytime for more info 💌

The nine-hole gross/net tournament for May 18th had Lisa Carlson as the low gross winner with a score of 47. The first low net winner was Alyssa Jones with a score of 37. The second low net winner was Brandy Grimm with a score of 42. On May 25th, the nine-hole low gross winner was Cathy Irons with a score of 65. The low net winner was Ann Lizanetz with a score of 42.
The WLGC Spring Tournament was held May 19th and 26th. The tournament weather offered two seasons, summer on day one and winter on day two! Needless to say, these weather changes made the course fairly challenging as well as some interesting hole placements. In spite of the weather and hole placements, the difference between the winners and runner-ups was only one or two strokes. For a second year in a row, Lisa Carlson was the low net champion with a two day score of 157. She was also closest to hole 5 on the 19th with a distance of 6 feet 3 inches. Bryn Echevarria tied with Lisa but Lisa had the better net on day one of the tournament. Bryn did have a chip-in on day one and was closest to hole 2 with a distance of 36 feet 6.5 inches on day two. Laurie Pickett was the low gross champion with a two day score of 202. She also had the fewest putts with 28 and a chip-in on day one. Lori Woodland had the fewest putts on the 26th with 31 and she had a chip-in and birdie on hole 9. Kailani Rodriguez also had a chip-in and a birdie on hole 15. Marlea Pointer was closest to hole 2 on the 19th with a distance of 22 feet. Pam Hope was closest to hole 5 on the 26th with a distance of 27 feet 9.5 inches. Congratulations to all of the winners!

The Monday gross/net tournament saw summer temperatures for the ladies who chose to play. Definitely a difference from the blustery conditions of last week. The low gross winner was Lisa Carlson with a score of 47 and the low net winner was Laurie Pickett with a score of 38.
The Tuesday morning ladies played the Pro's Posse net only tournament. The first low net winner was Pam Hope with a score of 72. She also had a chip-in on hole 3 and was closest to Hole 5 with a distance of 9 feet 10 inches. Congratulations on a great day of golf, Pam! Lisa Carlson was the second low net winner with a score of 73. Bryn Echevarria had the third lowest net score of 76. Laurie Pickett had the fewest putts with 29. Congratulations to all of the winners! Next week will be the first day of the Winnemucca Ladies' Golf Club Spring Tournament which will be played over the next two Tuesdays.
