We want to hear from you! Join us Wednesday, September 9, in the Community Room (540 Hibbard Road) between 6:30 - 8pm and give us your input on improvements for our Parks and Facilities for our existing parks and facilities to improve accessibility throughout the community and comply with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Your feedback will help us better understand where accessibility improvements are needed for the community and identify priorities to help guide future planning and improvements.

We hope you are able to take time and smell the flowers this Labor Day weekend. Before you head out on Monday, September 7, please note our adjusted hours:

🌳Our Administrative Office will be closed.
🎾A.C. Nielsen Tennis Center is open 9am-2pm.
⛸️Winnetka Ice Arena will be closed.

⛱️ Please note: the final day at Tower Beach will be Labor Day.

Thank you for a great - and safe - beach season! This is the last weekend to spend time on the beach this summer. Make that last swim count!

Here are updates and information on beach hours and closures:

⛱ Maple Beach + Elder Lane Beach: Now closed for the season. There are no lifeguards on duty.
⛱ Tower Road Beach will be closed for the swimming season beginning September 8. Tower Beach: Open for swimming with regular hours through September 7.
⛱ Lloyd Beach: Weekdays are open for boating until September 13. Weekends will only staffed until October 3.

Make Your Voice Heard! Join us on September 9, in the Community Room, between 6:30 - 8pm and give us your input on your thoughts on what improvements we can do for our Parks and Facilities.

The Winnetka Park District is updating its Transition Plan for existing parks and facilities as part of our ongoing efforts to improve accessibility throughout the community and comply with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Come ask questions and share your perspective. Your feedback will help us better understand where accessibility improvements are needed and identify priorities to help guide future planning and improvements.

On your mark, get set, BIKE! Bike Winnetka has been going strong for 15 years (can you believe it?!) It's become an annual tradition for the community and is a way to experience beautiful Winnetka - while being active together.
