Please think about getting involved in helping make the 2026 baseball/softball season something special for our kids. We rely on volunteers to make this season happen, no experience required, we have people that can help. We really need coaches to help instruct kids, and board members to help us run a smooth season. Our next board meeting will be held this Thursday, November 13th @ 7:00pm at the town hall. Please consider getting involved in this great organization.

October board meeting is set for this coming Monday, October 20th at 7:00pm at the Winsted town hall (blue room). Please come help make this a successful season for the kids!

The September 18th board meeting will be held at the town hall (blue room on the second floor) at 7:00pm, all are welcome. Since it is after town hall hours you take the elevator located at the police entrance and go to the second floor, the blue room is down the hall on your left. Please come help WYBSA be successful this season by supporting. See you there!

Happy Labor Day! September starts a new school year and with that we start a new baseball/softball season! This year we have a bunch of volunteer board members that have stepped down (thank you for your years of service), but that means that our first order of business is to get new volunteers willing to help run the leagues. If you would like to get involved, we will be having our first meeting on September 18th (time and place to be announced). We could really use the help to ensure that we have a successful season next year and for years to come.

We had our board meeting this past Friday, August 8, 2025. Our new President is Mike Bednarz, Vice President is Todd Verzino, Treasure Brandon Schultz, and Secretary is Peter Clark. Our 12U Fall Baseball registration is now open! Please register by 8/16 to ensure a spot, sorry for the short notice but we were unsure if we would be able to offer this program, but coaches have stepped up to run it. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer Fall Softball this year.

For the 12U baseball, players need to be league age 10-12 and have played at least 1 season of Minors baseball. The season runs fron September through October, there will be 8-10 games, usually played Sunday mornings and week day evenings (usually only 1 game per week). Practice schedules will be determined by the coaches. If interested please register as soon as possible.

Our annual meeting will be held on August 8 at 6pm in the Blue room of Wi******er Town Hall. Use the elevator in the Police entrance to access Town Hall second floor. There are many board members who will not be returning for the 25-26 season so if you are interested in getting involved please come out to this meeting!
