We are running a sale on many items in the store through the next few winter weeks. We have many bikes deeply discounted, some as much as 40% off, and most between 10-30% off. We have some 2023 and 2024 models that just need a good home. For example, Salsa Journeyer gravel bikes start at $599, regular price is $899. We have several other really deeply discounted bikes on the floor in the mountain and road categories as well. Skateboards are 50% off, Snowboards 40% off, and all clothing including shoes will be 50% off! It's a great time to refresh your stuff, add a back-up pair of shoes, or don that sick MOB kit for half price!

We also are offering sale pricing on service for the next month and a half. Through February, Major Tune ups are $200, regular price is $290. This service is the Full Monty of spa treatments for your steed! We strip the bike down to the frame, service, clean, or replace all bearings, clean the drivetrain, replace cables, and administer a full Tune up. The Deluxe Tune up is also available at a discount - regularly $190, we will provide this one for $130 through February. We give your bike some quality time with a full Tune up, a frame cleaning and detail, and a cleaning of the chain, cassette, and chainrings. Standard Tune ups are $90, so these upper-level jobs are a great deal!

Checked out another open section of The New River Trail. Started riding at The Shot Tower and rode northwest to the next trail closure. This makes a nice 12~ mile ride in one direction. Out and back makes it 24 miles.

Next time I will start at Foster Falls. It only knocks about 2 miles off the ride and is much easier to start from.

Pinarello Demo Wednesday!

This Wednesday, October 4th, we will have the Pinarello demo van visiting from noon til 4 pm. They will have Dogmas, Nytros, Grevils,and all kinds of fun in this thing for you all to test ride! The weather should be sublime, as it sure has been, and we encourage all who wish to experience what a pro-caliber road or gravel bike rides like. We will help with set up, so don't be bashful.... ride them all!

We hope to see a bunch of folks come out, so please cut a piece of time out in your busy schedules to check these beauties out. Also a great time to grab an espresso at Coffee Park, cast your vote for their USA Today ranking (currently they're in 1st place for best coffee drive thru in the US!!!).

Be sure and note the vacation scheduled for June 22nd through June 27th!!!!!
Happy June, everyone! Hard to believe we are almost halfway through 2020 already, though that may be a good thing. We are staying super busy here at the shop, and although there is a for real shortage of bikes and many associated cycling products at this time, we are open with full hours and still have many sweet bikes on the floor. E bikes, road bikes, and full suspension bikes are well-represented, and we also have a few gravel and 'cross bike options. We are mostly out of kids' bikes, and more entry-level oriented models; hopefully we'll see replenishment within 6 weeks or so.
On the service end of things, we are around 2 1/2 weeks out on repairs. We are trying to do as much on-the-spot work as we can, but there are just two of us during business hours, so please forgive us if we ask you to leave your whip with us for awhile. If you bike is generally working pretty well, we suggest maybe hanging onto it for a bit until our schedule opens up - keep it and ride it!

One last bit of exciting news, we are planning to take vacation the end of this month - this is the week of June 22nd - 27th. We will stop taking in repair bikes Saturday, June 13th as an effort to use this time off not only to take a breather, but also to speed up our turnaround time. We will be unavailable for pick-up or drop-off of any bikes during the week of the 22nd. Please plan accordingly - we don't want to leave anyone hanging during this time period, but we need to do some housework around the shop, clean, and reorganize after what has been the busiest 3 month frenzy we've ever experienced! We hope everyone understands, and we promise to return June 29th with renewed vigor and enthusiasm!
