Today, for King Chasing Day, our team had the opportunity to volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House and help prepare their Luminary Kits! 🕯️✨

These kits are part of a special tradition where luminaries are displayed to light up the community while raising awareness and support for families with children receiving medical care.❤️

We helped prepare over 2,000 sets of bags that will go into the luminary kits! 🙌

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that does so much for families in our community. ❤️

Thank you Caleb at RMHCPT for setting this up for us! If anyone is looking to help volunteer in the community, this is the place to find purpose 😊

Four groups of 6
Each with a 10lb medicine ball, 10 bottles of water and a time. They had to pushed as a team to finish strong or face a repeat tomorrow! 😅💪⏳

BOOT CAMP: WSPD EDITION 🚔💪🏀

Carolina University Women’s Basketball took Boot Camp to the Winston-Salem Police Department Training Academy!

A HUGE thank you to Sergeant Kayla Carleton for leading our team through an incredible workout. She challenged us, pushed us, and definitely made us WORK! 🔥

And a special shoutout to Officer “Flo,” who brought energy, encouragement, and laughs that helped keep our girls going when the workout got tough!

Speaking of keeping us going… hydration was a MUST! 💧 Huge thank you to ICHOR for sending our team product to try and helping us stay hydrated throughout the workout. We definitely put it to the test during Boot Camp!

Thank you to Sergeant Carleton, Officer Flo, and the Winston-Salem Police Department Training Academy for giving our team an experience we won’t forget!

Carolina University Women’s Basketball is excited to welcome Soraya Jefferson to the Bruin family!

A 5’8” sophomore guard from Powder Springs, Georgia, Soraya brings toughness, versatility, and a relentless work ethic to Winston-Salem. She impacts the game on both ends of the floor and has proven she can do it all, averaging 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game while serving as a true playmaker.

Soraya’s unselfish approach, high basketball IQ, and ability to create for herself and her teammates make her a perfect fit for the Bruins. Whether she’s pushing the pace, locking in defensively, or making winning plays, she competes with confidence and purpose.

We’re excited to watch that work continue in the Blue & Gold.
