Carolina University Women’s Basketball is proud to welcome Alexis Griggs to Winston-Salem for her sophomore season!

Standing 5’11”, Alexis brings elite versatility and toughness to the Lady Bruins. Coming from Florida, she played at the NCCAA Division I level where she averaged 12 points and 7 rebounds per game, earning Second Team All-Region honors. She also finished 20th in the nation in steals, proving her impact as a true two-way player.

Alexis is a matchup problem every time she steps on the floor. She can play both guard and forward positions, score at multiple levels, rebound in traffic, and defend with aggressive pressure that changes games. Her energy, competitiveness, and ability to create turnovers will fit perfectly in the Bruins’ fast-paced system.

We’re excited to watch her continue to grow and make an immediate impact in the blue and gold!
