Paula Stump and friends demonstrated the art of belly dancing at Central Library last night as part of the Mixed Doubles series. We've hosted the first four of these lectures on unrelated topics delivered by passionate local experts.

Organized by DENT Creative ReUse Center and Art Laboratory in conjunction with the Forsyth County Public Library and SECCA.

Beginners Basics – Wednesday (7-8pm)

Students will learn foundation steps and technique, as well as steps, movement patterns, and exercise practice drills designed to develop core strength and flexibility. The lesson material and instruction provided each week is progressive. Therefore in order to obtain the best outcome and optimal experience, it is important that students attend every lesson each week.

Students will be provided with notes, music for practice and access to links for YouTube videos of lesson material.

Cost: $55.00 per six week session or $15.00 per lesson

Schedule: January 8, 15, 22, *29; February 5, 12, 19

Students will learn foundation steps and technique, while combining steps to create a simple choreography, and muscle group isolation exercises to develop core strength and flexibility. Students will be provided with notes, music for practice and access to links for YouTube video for all classes.

Cost: $55.00 per six week session or $15.00 per lesson
