Happy New Year! Some of you may have rang in 2026 with a RING! 💍 😉 Congratulations!

It's easy to get caught up in the size, price, and design, comparing it to peers or rings you see online.

Your worth or value can't be represented by some rocks and metal. Rings get lost, weight fluctuates, and style preferences change regardless of how much money was spent. Its easy to get wrapped up in the sparkle and glam of a ring. But don't forget what it represents. A lifetime of building, shaping, and continuing to honor and show love to one another.

Having a wedding and being married are entirely different things. Weddings last one day, while marriages are intended to be for life. (Although, sadly the average is now only 8 years, 40 years short of what it should be).

If you are serious about being and staying married, I'd love to be a part of your story. I offer virtual access to Pre-Marital Education and Relationship Coaching, and am passionate about your marriage lasting a lifetime.

More often than not, anger comes from fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of rejection, fear of pain, fear of failure... I could go on and on.

People that hold a lot of anger are usually fearful people, using their anger to keep everyone at a distance in order to protect themselves. If no one ever gets close, their pain and vulnerabilities can't be seen or exploited.

I'm not referring to the occasional angry or mad, which are normal when expressed in a healthy way. I am talking about the deep seated, always bubbling under the surface, anger. This kind of anger hurts everyone, including the person raising their voice, balling their fists, and sharpening their tone.

This anger is scary, feels unsafe, and severs the cord of connection and community.

Do you know someone that struggles with anger? Is it you? What are you fearful of?

If you'd like some help with your anger (fear), please reach out. I would love to help. 💕

One of the most important relationships in your life is the one you have with yourself.

Do you voice your needs? Are you able to slow down when you've worked too hard? What are the special ways you show yourself kindness?

This is my office for the night. My favorite corner, in my favorite jammies, with my favorite tea.

Theres something special about the glow of the tree. Every year around Christmas, I sit next to it like my life depends on it. I light candles and make sure all my favorite ornaments are on the side where I sit. Although work is usually busy this time of year, my little corner by the tree, feels like a place where time stands still. 🌲

How is your relationship with yourself? If its not great, or where you'd like it to be, I'd love to help. Reach out for a consultation call!

As a Relationship Coach (and a mere human), my purpose and passion is to reduce suffering through the means of connection.

In a world where we have more ways than ever to communicate and keep in touch, we are lonelier than ever.

This past week blessed me with two opportunities to connect with fellow humans or as some would call them "strangers"...

As my husband Paul and I were sitting down for our little Biscuitville date, we over heard an older gentleman chatting with some diners about to leave. I leaned over to Paul and said "This is probably the only social interaction that man gets all day". My sweet introverted husband grabbed his tray, looked me in the eye and said " I'm going to go talk to him", and off he went. After cleaning up our table and gathering my plate, I joined them sitting next to the old man in the booth. He was more than happy to scoot over and make room for me. We learned that Mr. Robert was 93 years old, and his sweet bride of 68 years passed away 4 years ago. We listened to stories about his 9 siblings, his family and 10 day old great grandchild, along with tales from his own life. We spent about 45 minutes in that booth before we took our newly budding friendship back to his home. He showed us pictures of his family and let us take turns answering the million of spam calls he receives each day. He showed us his little leg exercise bike, and some cool books he had recently been gifted. After another hour of chatting, we headed out with Mr Robert's number, address, and a plan to meet again.

Just this morning on my way back from my Friday Lowes coffee run, I came across a car with its hazards on during rush hour stuck in the middle of one of the lanes. I pulled over in front and got out to meet a distressed driver. She explained what happened, and I assured her everything would be okay. *story continues in comments*
