What is the Keto Diet?
The keto diet, or ketogenic diet, is a low-carb, high-fat diet that forces your body to burn fat for energy instead of carbohydrates. It does this by drastically reducing your intake of carbohydrates and replacing them with fat. This puts your body into a metabolic state called ketosis, where your b...

Titan Training InBody 270 Body Composition Analysis
When you weigh yourself, what do the numbers on a bathroom type scale really mean?
Have you lost or gained weight? Was it fat or muscle that was lost or gained?
What your number really means is the amount of force that gravity exerts on your body
while you are standing on the scale, which is your weight expressed in pounds or
kilograms. Your body is a complex structure made of different components, such as body
water, fat and muscle. Your body cannot be expressed with one simple number.
Titan Training is now offering state of the art body composition analysis though a fifteen
second non-invasive full body scan. The InBody 270 is the same as stepping on a scale,
while holding on the two handles. See the image at the bottom of the page.
The InBody scan not only examines the composition of your body, but also reveals the
weight and percentage of body fat, muscle distribution, and body water components that
are key to the understanding of your body. Knowing what your body is made up of is
essential in preparing a diet and or exercise plan.
The InBody scan will give you a Segmental Lean Analysis of the Lean Mass in each arm,
legs and trunk. This will be expressed in weight and percentage. The percentage indicates
whether or not the Lean Mass is capable of supporting the individual’s body weight. Each
of these body areas can be addressed to achieve a full body balance. This is great for
assessing frailty and fall risk in older or sedentary people.
Taking the InBody test once will give you a snapshot of your body in that moment of time.
However, taking the InBody test consistently, every 3 - 4 weeks will give you a timeline of
your progress in health and fitness. You will be able to see muscle gain and fat loss from
your exercise and diet on the body composition history in the printed report.
If you are following a diet and or exercise plan, how do you know if it is effective?
If you have lost or gained weight how do you know if it's water, muscle or fat?

First Aid Training is just not about CPR.
Do you know how to stop bleeding from a cut? How to properly treat a burn? These are things that happen everyday. First Aid Training is an investment in health, not an expense.

An investment in First Aid/CPR/AED training is not an expense, but a small investment. Emergencies happen every day. No one plans on having a medical emergency!
A choking person regardless of age with a blocked airway has only about 1 minute before they go unconscious, 10 minutes or less until they die. Calling 911 is necessary, but if you do not no how to handle a chocking emergency, it will probably be too late to save the person when they arrive.

There are 220,000 victims of sudden cardiac arrest per year in the United States; about 10,000 sudden cardiac arrests occur at work.
Waiting for the arrival of emergency medical system personnel results in only 5-7% survival.
Studies with immediate defibrillation have shown up to 60% survival one year after sudden cardiac arrest.
Automated external defibrillators
An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a medical device designed to analyze the heart rhythm and deliver an electric shock to victims of ventricular fibrillation to restore the heart rhythm to normal. Ventricular fibrillation is the uncoordinated heart rhythm most often responsible for sudden cardiac arrest.
