Bird Programs Earth Touch was started in 1991 by Lea Nading, HTR.
It was a new program started with the Winston-Salem Recreation & Parks Dept. The mission was and is to make horticultural and nature programs accessible to special populations (low income, mentally, physically, and emotionally challenged, youth at risk, seniors, hospital and nursing home patients).
