6 Black Belts.
5 Brown Belts.
A room full of Purples, Blues, and Whites all putting in work.

Numbers are great, but what stood out was the depth of the room.

Experienced upper belts sharing knowledge. Newer students getting rounds with people who can challenge them and help them grow. Everyone training together, pushing the pace, and making each other better.

This is what we’re building at Carlson Gracie Winter Haven.

🔥 NOVEMBER 21 — JIU JITSU WORLD LEAGUE — LAKELAND 🔥

Saturday in Kissimmee showed exactly what Carlson Gracie Polk County is capable of.

We brought a smaller squad and still walked away with:

🥇 1st Place Adult Team
🥇 1st Place Adult Elite 8
🥇 1st Place Adult No-Gi
🥈 2nd Place Overall Organization — Carlson Gracie Team

Now it’s time to see what happens when we bring EVERYBODY.

This one is in our backyard, and we want Carlson Gracie Polk County represented BIG.

Kids. Adults. First-time competitors. Experienced competitors. Gi. No-Gi.

If you've been thinking about competing, THIS IS THE ONE.

We have two months to prepare. Two months to sharpen everything up, get competition rounds in, help our teammates get ready, and show up together.

Old-school Carlson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu has always carried a simple mentality: get on top and smash.

But that doesn’t mean we neglect the guard.

The Carlson Gracie lineage has produced some of the most effective guard players in Jiu-Jitsu history, including Ricardo De La Riva, whose influence on the modern guard game speaks for itself.

A strong top game is even more dangerous when you’re comfortable, offensive, and confident from the bottom.

Friday nights (Starting Oct 2nd) at CG Polk County now give you two ways to get on the mats:

🔵 CG South — Open Mat | 6:00 PM
🔵 CG Winter Haven — Adult Competition Class | 6:30 PM

Competition Class coached by Rafa, Andrew & Eddie.

This will be intentional competition training — not just hard rounds.
