Good morning! Hot air balloons visiting nearby this morning! So beautiful to watch them float by in the sunrise!

Today was my first adventure with AZDH (Arizona Desert Horsemen) at P & M arena in Mesa. Watching everyone practice their ground work skills and encouraging and helping one another was a treat for me. I can’t wait until next month to haul Newt and join in the fun!

Making some improvements on the ranch this last weekend. Built a cement box to support the arena water tank.

Trail ride today Scenic Loop Ridge in Wickenburg with the Wickenburg Horseman’s Association! Nice ride down in the Hassayampa riverbed and up on the hills! Over 30 riders today and met another group out riding too! Good to see so many enjoying our AZ weather!

AZ Wildlife vs. You & Your K9

Instructor, Teri Ann of Comfy Pets of AZ, has been teaching comprehensive AZ Wildlife & Your K9 since 2012. Beginning this year, 2023, she decided to add the human factor to this important subject by utilizing her former EMT & Wilderness EMT skills from her years of experience out in the field.

Students will learn how to stay safe out on the trail with their K9, as well as close to their home, as she guides you through the different wildlife that AZ has to offer.

Students will learn with hands-on training with real-life scenarios for K9 & human, including:

* Snake 🐍 bites
* Fractures
* Sprains
* Shoulder injuries
* Leg injuries
* Hyperthermia
* Hypothermia
* & Emergency Preparedness
