FUEL TO PERFORM
Most people don’t realize how much their nutrition is impacting their performance until they start hitting walls in training.

Low energy. Poor recovery. Mid-workout crashes. Heavy legs. Constant soreness.
It’s not always your training plan. Sometimes it’s your fueling strategy.

At Rack House Nutrition, we help athletes and everyday adults learn how to fuel with purpose so they can:

• Sustain energy through sessions
• Recover faster
• Improve endurance and strength
• Reduce cramping and GI issues
• Feel more consistent day-to-day
• Actually get more out of the work they’re already putting in

Whether you’re training for Hyrox, a marathon, CrossFit, triathlons, or just trying to perform better in life — nutrition matters.

Join us virtually on May 12 at 7 PM for our Fuel to Perform Nutrition Talk where we’ll break down:
• Pre-training nutrition
• Hydration + electrolytes
• Fuel timing
• Common mistakes athletes make
• Simple strategies you can implement immediately

Did the Open leave you on “read”? 👀

The sting of a missed rep or a “scaled” workout is the best motivation. Don’t wait until next year’s leaderboard is staring you in the face—now is the time to build the capacity you felt was missing.

Level up your gymnastics skills with Coach Priscilla’s expert-led sessions. With 24+ years experience as a gymnastics specialist, she has used technique and mastery to coach athletes from their first pull-up to elite-level efficiency. ✨ Session #2: Rig & Ring Dominance - pull ups, chest to bar, toes to bar, and muscle ups

What to expect:
* 60-minute deep dives into skill drills & mobility
* Targeted strength to bulletproof your shoulders and core

🤘Spirit of the Games 🤍 our favorite Open Season award!

We are incredibly proud to name Drew our Spirit of the Games winner. While the Open is typically centered around scores and leaderboards, Drew reminds us every year that it’s actually about people.

Drew is the guy who stays late, cheers the loudest, and would truly do anything for anybody. Despite having a million demands on his time, when Drew walks through those doors, the energy in the room shifts. He puts in the work (usually twice over!), stays incredibly supportive of every single athlete, and makes sure no one feels left behind.

During this Open season, Drew consistently put the emphasis on supporting others. He selflessly gave up his own heat time to pace and support a new member so she could reach her goal. Drew puts the community on his back every single week, making him the ultimate teammate 🤝❤️

From his infectious positivity to that iconic yell that gets everyone moving, he is the undisputed hype-man of the gym. 🎤🙌

Give this man a high-five and a WHOOOOO HOOOOO when you see him! ✋🎉

Finally, we get our hands on the barbell … only to have it coupled with BURPEES! As soon as your head has stopped spinning and your stomach has settles, check out our FINAL weekly recap of the winners, the bright spots, and the team standings.

WEEK 3 MVP: has been working consistently all year long, pushing her way to the top of the RX leaderboard one lift, one skill, and one workout at a time.

Congratulations goes out to Dani Tompkins (representing Team Hustlers)!

They say championships are won when the stands are empty and Dani is proof of that. For the past 12 months, she’s shown up consistently for class, putting in the work alongside her fellow athletes. And with each class, we have watched her transform from a dedicated newcomer to the one to watch when it comes to hitting the workout RX. She chooses to move through her weaknesses, taking on each of them as a challenge to make her better, inside and outside of the gym.

This year’s Open was the ultimate test of that consistency and dedication. We’ve seen her kick up her game several notches, tacking high-skilled movements and heavy loads with composure, while accepting and implementing feedback with ease. She has punctuated a year of relentless, quiet discipline each week, putting out a stellar Open performance.

Dani’s growth has been one of the most impressive we’ve seen at the gym and is a true testament to the fact that showing up matters. We can’t wait to see what you do next!
Our WOD Winners for Top Score in each division are:
💪 RX Female: 1st Place: Becca Hurley (Team Big Green Energy), 2nd Place: Casey Hyde (Team Orange Crush)
💪 RX Male: 1st Place: Brian Frazier (Team Big Green Energy), 2nd Place: Rob Kent (Team Big Green Energy)
💪 Scaled Female: 1st Place: Jen Brock (Team Big Green Energy), 2nd Place: Meg Papetti (Team McDro)
💪 Scaled Male: 1st Place: Max Quinton (Team Orange Crush), 2nd Place: Jack Mackey (Team Orange Crush)

TEAM McDro: 444 points
TEAM Hustlers: 413 points
TEAM Big Green Energy: 364 points
TEAM Orange Crush: 282 points
TEAM FNG’s: 243 points

And that’s a wrap ✅💯 until next year 🤘

Gymnastics was the key to unlock your potential during Week 2 of the CrossFit Open Team Challenge with pull ups, chest to bars, and ring muscle ups making a strong comeback. While you contemplate whether to wash your hair again this week, we have your weekly recap of the winners, the bright spots, and the team standings.

WEEK 2 MVP: 📣✨ Congratulations goes out to Brooke Dearborn (representing Team Orange Crush)!
While Brooke crushed 26.2 with a lightning-fast finish, it’s her growth outside the scoreboard that earned her this week’s MVP spot. As a long-time member of our community, we’ve watched Brooke evolve into an athlete who understands that true strength is found in the “long game.”
When faced with the choice between “can I?” and “should I?”, Brooke chose perspective and embraced the progress that comes with the process. By opting to modify the weight to protect her PT rehab, she prioritized her longevity over the immediate gratification of an Rx score. She chose to max out her speed instead of maxing out the load, proving she has the discipline to stay fierce while staying smart.
But the best part about Brooke is that she shows up with the perfect balance of positive energy and sassy spice. With a big smile and a little bit of snarky, she’s there to make it fun for everyone! Whether you’re new to the crew or a seasoned veteran, Brooke is there with the high fives and high spirits, especially when she can double fist it with Dunkin. She is a fierce competitor, a loyal friend, and the ultimate teammate. Her real MVP moment wasn’t just the workout—it was showing up for her crew on Friday morning with the fist bumps and cheers that make the Open so special.
The week she exemplified growth and discipline, staying commitment to her journey, her team, and the inclusive culture we strive to create at Rack House! Thank you for being an integral piece of our CrossFit community!

At the end of WEEK 2, only a few points separate first and second place

TEAM McDro: 287points
TEAM Hustlers: 267 points
TEAM Big Green Energy: 235 points
TEAM Orange Crush: 174 points
TEAM FNG’s: 160 points

Now we are just a few hours away from the 26.3 announcement! 📣

This year Week 1 of the CrossFit Open Team Challenge brought us up the mountain with Wall Balls and a Battle with the Box. While you’re still waiting to feel your legs again, here’s the recap of the winners, the bright spots, and the team standings.

WEEK 1 MVP: is all about TEAM SPIRIT! When facing down more than a handful of wall balls, this athlete wears her “rose colored glasses” with optimism and team pride 📣✨

Congratulations goes out to Soo Chung (representing Team FNG’s)!

If you’ve ever felt an extra burst of energy during a grueling AMRAP or heard a cheer just when you were about to drop the barbell, chances are it was Soo. She doesn’t just show up to work out … she shows up to make sure everyone else is winning, too. Soo is the ultimate teammate, constantly encouraging others to dive in, participate, and give their absolute best. Her mission? To make sure every single person in this gym feels seen, involved, and capable. 🤝❤️

But don’t let that kindness fool you - behind that giving spirit is a fierce competitor. Whether it’s a local throwdown or a Saturday partner WOD, Soo is the first to raise her hand and step up to the challenge. 🏋️‍♀️🔥

The most inspiring part? Her resilience. This past year, Soo has navigated a gauntlet of hurdles from rehabbing injuries and physical setbacks to juggling a demanding schedule. She has attacked finding her life balance with the same grit she brings to the rig, proving that progress isn’t a straight line, but a result of never giving up. 📈🍏

And when she isn’t crushing metcons or cheering you on, she’s likely talking about the two things she loves most: CrossFit and her pups! 🐾💪

Soo, you are a “Rack-star” in every sense of the word. Your dedication to your own growth and your selfless support of this community is what makes Rack House home. We are so lucky to have you in our corner!

We are on our way to the next announcement for 26.2 THIS Thursday! Tune in to the CrossFit Games YouTube channel to watch it live! But first, drop your predictions below👇
