Pond-A-River Golf Club is a fun golf course that sits in a quiet country atmosphere in the Woodburn area. Golfers can enjoy a peaceful round of golf in a natural environment away from housing additions and highways. The front nine offers a traditional layout with a par 36, while the back nine -- carved out of a thick forest -- offers some of the most scenic holes in northeast Indiana. A winding creek and several ponds amongst the woods make this one of the most unique and challenging nine holes to play.

A reminder for our competitive players! It’s Club Championship week at Pond-A-River! Members and league players have until we close Thursday night to sign up! It’s your chance to get your name up on our wall of champions and recieve a heavy discount on next year’s membership!

Open to our PAR Members and League players:
Tee times will be posted Friday
Cost: Non Members $100 (Pays for green fees and carts fees both days) Optional $5 Skin pot each day
Three Divisions:
- Men (59 and under, Blue tees)
- Women (Red tees)
- Seniors (60 and over White tee, 75 & over Red tees)
Payouts for the championship will contribute towards the 2026 membership fees. The payout structure is as follows:
Men's Division:
- Gross Payout: $600/300
- Net Payout: $600/300
Women's Division:
- Gross Payout: $600/300
- Net Payout: $600/300
Seniors' Division:
- Gross Payout: $500/250
- Net Payout: $500/250

**If you elect to move up to a different division (women’s to seniors, seniors to men’s), you must abide by that division’s rules and play from the tees listed in the divisions above.**

It’s that time of year again! The 8th Annual PAR Big Hole, tees off 9:00am, September 27th, 2026!

Play in a four man scramble with our large cups cut out of the greens! 🕳️

Member Entry Fee: $25 per player
Guest Entry Fee: $55 per player
Optional Skins: $20 per team

🥇 1st Place: $700
🥈 2nd Place: $500
🥉 3rd Place: $300

Teams who played in last years outing have first right of refusal. Teams must have 50% of their original 2025 team to be eligible for sign up and Hole-in-One carry over. All teams must be signed up by 9/22/26 6:00pm. If teams who have played last year do not sign up by the date above, they will forfeit their spot and the next team on the waiting list will be entered into the tournament!

25 Maximum Teams, men 59 & younger play from the blues, men 60-74 play from the whites, and women or men 75+ play from the reds.

Be sure to call or stop into the pro shop to secure your spot!

While the rain helped green up the course in so many areas it also created some damage on a small percentage of the course with cart and machine traffic. This week you will see these damaged areas being worked up and planted with new seed with our tractor and slit seeder. We will also be working on tee boxes as well.
