6-week Strength Training online class (via Zoom) especially for beginner/intermediate level participants. Once per week on Tuesday evening for 45 minutes - $49.
You need one or two sets of dumbbells and a mat. You could also substitute common household items for weights.

I enjoy Virtual Personal Training, as it allows me to work with people with whom I would have never met otherwise. These ladies are college students in another state that work out with me from their dorm/apartment - in their space, at their convenience, with whatever equipment they have available.

Need to get moving, but don't have a lot of time? Try this quick, intermediate-level workout with me. You'll get your heart rate up, work on your balance, strength, and even a little flexibility.

(Put on your own music, because I don't have any).

1. Warm up
2. Jump out, jack, jump in
3. High Knees with arm roll
4. Wide-to-Narrow Push Up
5. Single Leg Lunge to Single Leg Deadlift
6. Repeat 2 - 5
7. Cool Down

With current gym closures, social distancing requirements and shelter-in-place orders, you might be spending more time at home on the couch with the desire to workout, but little motivation.

A lot has changed in a short time, but it is still possible to maintain and improve your fitness - safely, at home, with instruction, using whatever fitness equipment you already have.

As a Personal Trainer with 8 years experience, and 17 years as a Group Fitness Instructor, I am pleased to offer Virtual Personal Training online. Using a video chatting app such as Skype, Zoom, Messenger or Duo, I guide clients through a live workout, using fitness equipment they have in their homes. Minimal additional equipment can be purchased to increase training options, or the workout can be modified to use no equipment at all.

Choose training frequencies from two (2) to twelve (12) times per month. You can elect to receive a written copy of your workout to repeat on your own. Also I can provide consult regarding your nutrition or general dietary habits.

Tired and hungry?

Getting plenty of sleep will help you maintain your weight….and conversely, lack of sleep can cause increased weight gain.

There are many reasons, but one of them is a hormone called GHRELIN. The more ghrelin you have, the hungrier you are. When you don't get enough sleep, ghrelin levels go up.

Result: people who are tired are just plain hungrier - and they seem to crave high-fat and high-calorie foods!
