We also give back to our community and create a fun learning environment for adults to play tennis & pickleball. A professional tennis academy for athletes of all ages and experience who share a passion to succeed. Every member of TEAMG is goal oriented and passionate about life with big dreams in their sport. Lead by the innovative Gerald Mathews, every athlete that is apart of TEAMG receives unique, individual training that is designed around their own style and skill level. You showed me something Today C Glass. Your ability to bring to the match court the things that you see and do in practice made me know I got One! Congratulations on winning the Burbank 12U(L6) Open. You can be whatever you want to be out here. You are already doing it. Your Best attribute: Coachable. It needs to stay fun while also challenging yourself. You’re Growing Cam!! I’ve done this before and I chose you for more reasons than I care to share. You’re Lefty, you’re Tall, you have a great heart. You mean well to people! They don’t know the athlete part. 🤫 These trophies (VCJTA 16U singles Champ) are just symbols that you are heading in the right direction. Some kids take lessons and some kids go play. I am just going to watch “you” find out who you are and what time it is. Stay smiling, but work harder, play sports and believe that you are here to be Great. You have two younger sisters who are watching. We make a great team and I am So so proud of you! We do this!!

Watching you find the answers, go through the struggles, overcome and keep going are the things that dreams are made of. Congratulations on winning both the singles and doubles title at the B16 (L6) in Lakewood was not easy. Tennis in SoCal is not a joke and watching you battle through the field is very rewarding and confirms you have what it takes to be successful. Keep up the good work and stay motivated. Elise you don’t even know how special I think you are! From the day we met I had no idea what the future held. Over the years you have created some habits and beliefs that will serve you Well Forever! You are a dream student now because of your effort, energy, and winning attitude. Your attributes make me want to go to work. You have put in your time and now you will start to reap the benefits. You are a killer, but you hide it with your smile! We love to see it! Congratulations Sophie for getting second place in your first L6 (14’s) event! Beating a number 1 seed on the way to the finals. Sophie put in 3 weeks of summer camp and I can see the affects. Fitness, clear tactics and confidence do wonders for a players game. Way to put in the work and thank you for listening and representing TeamG! We love that you enjoy your team and always show love. Can’t wait to see you keep playing this year. One more year before highschool and we are going to be ready.

Inside Camp Chronicles.

Our kids were applying the step in on the forehand side of the ball. Giving them the chance to do tennis the correct way is what we do here at TeamG tennis Camp.

Which leg do you finish on? We had a cool talk with campers last week with how I want them to create balance and good finishing positions after they hit the tennis ball. We love sharing a simplified way to approach tennis concepts. No excuses for not getting better in our setting!

This girl Keeps Showing Up. And So will I! Kat congratulations on getting 2nd place in your first ever 14U (L7) tournament. You have shown up, gone through changes, had doubts, worked harder. Allowed me to ask you to do things that didn’t come easily. But through the fire we have become two people that trust one another. Thank you for the time to develop a relationship that let’s me coach you as a coach without the fear of your misunderstand my standards for/of you. It’s hard to stop combinations like ours. We will talk less and show you with our actions. Keep going and I also want to thank your parents for letting me earn this role. 🙏
