Nothing too positive from today's meeting for a Chinook reopener, but we snuck down a day early and had a ball.

Nice Rockfish, plenty of coho action, multiple seal fights, and beautiful weather in store for the near future.

We're only half way through the season and there's still plenty of fish to catcb, I have boats and spots open here and there, and were going to start dropping some pots for some fresh dungeness crab too.

Let's go!

Lots of work to make the pile but playing perfect baseball on the river Chinook really helped!

Missed the first couple days but we're already making up for it. Lots of big fish in the system has made for some epic quick mornings!

I know the river is opening soon but something tells me were going to be spending a lot of time outside for the next couple weeks.

Nice to be back on the big blue at home. Nice limits of salmon and rockfish, they didnt miss me apparently!!

Back from Alaska from one of the toughest trips Ive had up there since we started going. But there were some absolute epic moments moments mixed in between the hunting and great times hanging with great people.

FishBaranof does it again making Sitka one of my favorite places to go fish! Even though this year was tough, we will be back. Learned a lot, caught a lot and over the next little bit youll see some of the monsters we did battle with.

Clean up time, back to our ocean tomorrow, Super 60 next weekend, and then Buoy 10. It's going to be a blur but Ill be wishing I had more time in Sitka.

I know we're getting into the fall season, but just in case you like springers.....

Fun episode with Catch America hunting the ever elusive spring Chinook this past May. Got to fish with Max Gross , Big Nate's Guide Service and Scott Kaul l from Brad's Killer Fishing Gear for a couple days, and it was a blast!

We whacked them, be sure to give it a watch as we have to deal with conditions the Columbia dished out!
