A change of pace for a Tuesday night as the boys took a break from the field for a film session, breaking down footage and discussing areas to improve ahead of our next match against Charlotte.

Thanks to Creepy Tees for working with us to produce this season’s membership shirts. We appreciate the support and are grateful to have them as a local partner.

Our Forward of the Match is Christian Bardsley. After moving up from flanker to ho**er, Bards put in a massive shift in the middle of the action. He was dependable in defense all match, made his tackles, and always found himself carrying into the action from the front of our pack play.

Making his first XVs appearance for the Griffins, Nathan John Raath lined up at inside center, an abnormality for this stalwart back rower. He dotted down for a try, moved the ball beautifully, and wasn’t afraid to carry hard into contact all match.

Not the result we wanted, but a big day for four Griffins.

Congratulations to Gabriel, Ivan, Nathan, and Campbell on making their club XVs debuts for the Griffins on Saturday!
