A day in our Thailand life. Now I have semi-retired, and still hoping my wife and stepson will come to America next year when their visa is approved. Until then, Thailand does restrict the amount of days I can spend here; but we’re also working on a Thai marriage visa, which will allow me to stay more or less indefinitely. It helps that we own property. I found a decent gym, it’s about 30 minute drive away. No air-conditioning, so this time of year, it’s a combination workout/sauna. Then a five minute drive to the mall where there are plenty of restaurants, including this hot pot that we like. It’s all you can eat and that’s not all we ate. When we go there, it’s my one meal a day. Later on in the day, I have a monkey on my back. And then last slide I track my sleep and workouts on an Oura Ring. You can see my 46 resting heart rate, and all I can say if you’re not familiar with HRV it’s kind of a stress score… and 104 is a very good (low stress) number.
