🎗️🎀 PINK OUT NIGHT FOR ELIZA! 🎀🎗️

Tonight is about so much more than softball. 💗 We’re wearing PINK & taking the field in honor of Eliza Pressgrove, a brave 9 year old 4th grader who was diagnosed with medulloblastoma this past April.

After surgery to remove the tumor, radiation, & now chemotherapy, Eliza continues to fight hard & tonight, the Boomers are standing right beside her. 💪🏼🩷🎗️

Join us for Pink Out Night as we honor Eliza, show our support for her family, & bring awareness to childhood cancer. 🎗️

🥎 Game time: 5:00 PM
🩷 Wear your PINK! Or GOLD!
🎗️ For Eliza. For every child fighting.
💰 Donations will be collected during the 5th inning. ALL DONATIONS go directly to Eliza & her family!

Special thanks to the Boomer Cheer team who went out of their way to bring the softball girls popsicles after practice today!! They are making an awesome effort to make sure all teams feel supported and we appreciate them very much!!

Congratulations to Junior, Kaleigh Mills, who recorded her 300th career strike out last night in the season opener against Clinton.

The Boomers defeated Clinton 20-5 in the first district game of the year.

UPDATE: The matchups are set! The Boomers will open the State Tournament at 2:30 p.m. against North Rock Creek on THURSDAY at FireLake Ballpark in Shawnee. The tournament was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but pushed two days due to weather. Let's go!
